SAISD's 5-step standard response to a school closing or delay.
1- A voice alert is sent out which calls, texts, and emails ALL employees and parents in our district
2- Text messages are sent to district staff via REMIND app
3 - We post to our district Facebook and website pages
4 - Campuses use their phone trees to disseminate information
5 - Additional texts with important information are sent to principals, transportation, food service, maintenance, district police, and other critical areas in the district.
