The new SAISD website is up and running at www.saisd.us! Although there are still additional changes to come, the new site has lots of new features to offer. It provides quick access to the various calendars in the district (district, elementary, secondary and band, to name a few) and provides a connection to our new athletic sites at www.maxpreps.com.
Also available at the maxpreps site are football and volleyball schedules, rosters, state rankings and other related information. You can also access our twitter feed (twitter.com/saisdwolves), local weather, directions to school facilities and community links. There is even a link to this weekly article in case you miss it in the Tribune. Thanks go out to Mr. Tom Schmieder and Mr. Ryan Ham for all the hard work they have put into a great looking and well-functioning website!
The Wolves came close to pulling off a win against the Tenaha Tigers last week, losing by a score of 21 to 15. The Varsity travels to Grapeland this week, while the 8th grade and Junior Varsity teams host Grapeland at Wolfpack Stadium Thursday evening starting at 5:00.
