The spirit of Christmas resonates in downtown San Augustine! There will be lots of shopping and good food. Our retail merchants are stocked with wonderful festive and practical merchandise! Please shop local! The Christmas Seasons version of Junk in the Trunk Trades Day will be in downtown San Augustine. Many vendors have signed up and we are expecting a large crowd. Imogene’s Café will be hosting a Breakfast with Santa Event. Enjoy a special breakfast of hot cakes and sausage and walk over to neighboring Ayish Bayou Mercantile to complete the event. Children will be given the chance to make their own special Christmas ornaments to take home. The Santa Package will include the ornament and an additional gift for the child. Call or just go in. The event is come and go between 8 a.m - 12 noon.
The Pinto Pony Café will be open for business this Saturday from 10 a.m - 2 p.m. The Fat Cow Mexican Food Restaurant will be open as well.
