New High School Bond Approval and Construction

On Saturday, May 6, 2023, a local bond election was held to raise $32 million dollars for a new high school and upgrades to the elementary school. The bond was passed and construction has since begun on a comprehensive new high school with a multi-purpose education facility for fine arts and athletics.  Also, bond funds are being used for safety and security upgrades at the San Augustine Elementary School.
