My name is Deborah Evans, and I am the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.  This is my 24th year as an educator. I received a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1999 with specializations in Reading and English. My certification includes first grade through eighth grade self-contained with an additional ESL endorsement. In 2017. I received my Master of  Education in Administration from Lamar University and obtained a principal certification the same year. Over my 24 year career with the district I have served as a classroom teacher, interventionist, instructional coach, interim principal, Reading Academy cohort leader and finally my current position as a Curriculum Director. San Augustine has been my home for 46 years. My husband, my two sons and I are all proud graduates of San Augustine High School. I love this community and the students we serve each day! ALWAYS A WOLF!!!!
